THINGS TO DO
FAMILY MONUMENT
Created to celebrate the beginning of the 21st century, this elegant bronze sculpture depicts a Mazatlecan family looking outward with an air of optimism. Designed by Antonio López Sáenz, it is located on Avenida del Mar, steps from Shrimp Hill and the Genaro Estrada roundabout.
MEXICAN FIESTA

VISIT EL ROSARIO
Situated 40 miles south of Mazatlán, El Rosario is one of the most faithfully-preserved mission towns in the region. The hometown of iconic singer Lola Beltrán, El Rosario is rich in history, its streets dotted with ancient missions and colonial manor houses with colorfully-tiled garden patios and lavish interiors.
HIKING
With the longest coastal boardwalk and second-highest natural lighthouse in the world, Mazatlán is ideal for hiking and exploring. STONE ISLAND
Lush and mysterious, Stone Island will captivate your senses. Beautiful virgin beaches stretch along the coast of the island, brimming with spectacular flora and fauna. A half-mile boat ride from Mazatlán, it feels worlds away. The six mile-long beach is ideal for leisurely strolls along the sand, where beautiful ocean views greet you on one side and local coconut groves on the other. Soft, rolling waves, fine sand, and the fertile natural landscape make for a peaceful, private environment.
